How to replace the Playstation 3 Controller battery?
STEP 1 -
Turn the control over and you will see 5 screws holding the back panel down.
STEP 2 -
Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the 5 screws on the back to detach the panel from the controller.
STEP 3 -
Slightly pinch in the center of the controller to get the back panel off and unplug the battery, which may need you to use the Phillips head again.
STEP 4 -
Replace the old battery by placing the new one in its place and it should fit snugly on the circuit board.
